In Our Church
The church is not THE CHURCH without the people. Buildings are beautiful, but it is the individuals who come together, sharing their gifts, that make us the body of Christ. Brenthaven is blessed with so many who give their time to the ministry of the church. While some may be out front in leadership, there are many more who work behind the scenes to help fulfill the churches mission.

Discipleship Ministry
Did you ever wonder how Sunday School materials are chosen? This group of church members meets monthly to determine and discuss all Christian educational materials for Brenthaven Church. They support and develop Wednesday evening classes and meals.
Outreach Ministry
This group is in charge of community events at Brenthaven. They coordinate and run Trunk or Treat, which occurs the Sunday evening before Halloween annually, Live Nativity, a walk through the story of Jesus's birth, Pet Blessings and much more.
Missions Ministry
This group supports the various missions that the Cumberland Presbyterian Church as a whole participate in, as well as our local community and church. This includes international missions and missionaries, and domestic and local mission work. They host fundraising lunches, support our youth group on their annual mission trip, and collect goods to send to various areas.
Music Ministry
This group participates in music selection for regular worship services as well as special events. Brenthaven has a very active vocal choir, will utilize a hand bell choir, and will include other talented musicians in worship. Fellowship Ministry
This group is in charge of planning fun events for our church members. This includes church lunches, picnics, Nashville Sounds games and maybe even going bowling.
Leadership Opportunities
Everyone has a gift, and God calls us all to use that gift in sharing the Good News. As you become a part of Brenthaven, it is our hope that you will find that place God is calling you. And if you are unsure, know that you are always welcome to inquire where you might be filling called or to help you discern the best place for your talent.
