Created to Worship

At Brenthaven, we believe that a natural reflection of our love for God is worship. And that worship should invade every aspect of our lives.

Worship starts with really knowing who God is and trusting God. When we understand how good and loving God is, our hearts respond. We begin to value God more than anything else, finding joy and peace. This love for God then shows up in what we say, lifting our praise, and in what we do, by helping and caring for others in Jesus’ name.

Worship is the way we show love, honor, and devotion to God. It includes praying, singing, reading Scripture, listening, and celebrating. However, worship is not just about the service itself -- it’s about turning our hearts toward God, thanking God for life, and seeking to live in a way that reflects God’s love every day.


Created for Community

Since its beginning, Brenthaven Church has sought to be a place for community. What does that mean? It means that anyone who comes through those doors are welcomed to be part of the community of witnesses who worship, fellowship, and serve together. Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to be part of the church family.

But community also means that we are available to the needs of those around us. We open our doors for AA groups, elections, blood drives and other ways that help our Brentwood and surrounding community.
